Our Capabilities As An Industrial Sprocket Gear Manufacturer

We at Marshall Gears are the industry leaders in manufacturing of Large sized Industrial sprocket gears. Sprocket gears are one of the many types of gears that are used for Mining, Conveyor, Dryers, Kilns and other similar applications.

We also have sprockets that have been exclusively designed as per customer needs with a special noise reduction quality. We offer one of the most economical and reliable sprocket gears used for long term applications and items.

  • A sprocket or sprocket-wheel is a profiled wheel with teeth, or cogs, that mesh with a chain, track or other perforated or indented material. The name ‘sprocket’ applies generally to any wheel upon which radial projections engage a chain passing over it.

  • The gearing ratio is the ratio of teeth between the front and rear sprockets. This ratio determines how engine RPM is translated into wheel speed by the bike. Changing sprocket sizes, front or rear, will change this ratio.

  • Chain Sprocket drive is a way of transmitting mechanical power from one place to another.

Sprocket gears work on the mechanism wherein sprockets are connected on the engine with the help of a supporting metal chain. When the engine is in rotation because of the force of the machine, the larger sprocket also works.

The larger sprocket is located and attached to the chain. This process of working of a sprocket gear can further be explained as the one end of the chain which is a small sprocket attached on the engine starts rotating due to the force exerted by the engine. On the other end of the chain, the larger sprocket which is attached to the rear axle gives both forward as well as reverse momentum force.

As An Industrial Sprocket Gear Manufacturer We Manufacture The Following Types Of Sprockets

To allow for reliability in the harsh environments of the industry, chains and sprockets must consistently work together smoothly.

Our sprockets are built from top-grade carbon steel to offer long wear life, resist abrasion, and withstand heavy shock loads.

Alloy and stainless steel sprockets are also available for extra corrosion resistance and food-grade applications.

Cast Iron Sprockets
Cast Iron is the most common and economical material for flat wire belt sprockets, they are accurately cast from high grade iron. Other diameters can be provided on special order.

Steel Sprockets
Some Sprockets have no flange and a hub sticking out one side to allow debris to fall through the belt.
While others sprockets are made either from a solid piece of steel or have a flange welded at the base of the teeth, for belt support.
Stainless Steel Sprockets
Stainless sprockets are either investment cast from 18-8 stainless or fully machined from T-303 SS or T-316 SS.
